Vivotif is an oral vaccine against the Salmonella Typhi bacterium that causes typhoid fever. It provides protection for both adults and children ages 5 and older.

It is recommended for adults and children over 5 years of age traveling to areas at risk of the disease. Vivotif® stimulates the immune system, providing effective protection against infection, making it ideal for those planning to stay in areas at high risk of contracting typhoid fever.

Vivotif® dosage
- Adults and children over 5 years of age should take 3 capsules:
- Day 1: Take the first capsule.
- Day 3: Take the second capsule.
- Day 5: Take the third capsule.
The use of Vivotif®
- The capsules should be taken on an empty stomach, at least one hour before a meal, with cold or lukewarm water.
- Protection against typhoid fever begins 7-10 days after completing a full course of vaccination.
- If you plan to travel again to at-risk areas 3 years after vaccination, you may need to repeat the cycle.

- Do not use if you are allergic to any component of the vaccine or have a weakened immune system.
- Do not use during an infection that runs with high fever or intestinal disease.
